Home From Work, On Tiptoe – Ariel Anderssen Studio

I come home, barefoot and on tiptoe, and shed my handbag and raincoat in the hall. Still on tiptoe, I wander through the living room, pausing to open my post, before going into the kitchen, still on tiptoe. I pour myself a glass of wine, and take a sip, leaning against the counter and still on tiptoe. On my toes, I leave the kitchen and walk back through the living room, tiptoe on the carpet. Back into the hall, and I walk up the stairs, slowly, still on my toes. I enter the bedroom and sit on the bed, stretching out my tired bare feet towards the camera. And finally realising that you’re enjoying the view, I stand up and pose for you, walking up and down tiptoe, and posing in positions that give you the best view possible.
