Nude, with a crotchrope and bamboo arm tie, I pace slowly across the room, using singing bowls to make my meditation room chime with restful noises. I’ve attached chopstick nipple clamps already, but can’t reach to take them off now that my hands are tied. So I kneel on a chair, feeling tranquil acceptance of my state, and ready to start my reading meditation.

I read a passage aloud, trying to stay still and calm, even though the nipple clamps hurt and my knees get sore from kneeling on the hard wooden seat!
