It transpires that there’s been a little corruption in this courtroom: some unprofessional behaviour, even some impure designs on the judicial equipment. It’s Dr Hyde who proposes the experiment, ever a devotee of the scientific method: why not find out what more this experience has to offer?

PC Blake and the Magistrate both take their turn over the bench, with Dr Hyde making less effort than ever to conceal her excitement. It turns out these three are just as brutal when the proverbial gloves are off – especially when PC Blake asks to find out what a real birching might be like!
